Osier is committed to making our website welcoming and easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as the standard we design and build toward, in support of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Our approach
- Clear structure. Pages use headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can move through them easily.
- Keyboard access. Links, buttons, menus and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Readable contrast. Our black, white and gray palette is chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast for text.
- Image descriptions. We add text descriptions to product and campaign images so their content is available to assistive technology.
- Reduced motion. Animations and moving effects respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Labeled forms. Every form field, from newsletter sign-up to checkout, is labeled and announces errors clearly.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our site as we add new products and pages, test with keyboard navigation and screen readers, and fix issues as we find them. Some features provided by third parties may not be fully within our control, but we work with those partners to improve them.
